What this notice covers
This notice covers the Quantovale platform at quantovale.translink.it and the information you give it. The privacy notice published on translinkcf.it covers browsing that website; it does not cover this platform.
Who we are

What we collect
Your email address, your role and your country. Your company website, and the legal name and company registration number we find from public sources. The figures you enter — revenue and EBITDA. The sector, business description and commentary our AI produces from your website, your figures, and public sources about your company that it may consult where your website alone is not enough, and the valuation range we calculate. If we ask you to confirm your email address, we also keep a record that you did, and until when.
Why, and on what basis
To produce your indicative valuation and, if you give the separate permission for it, so that the Translink specialist who covers your sector can follow up with you about it. We rely on your consent for that. Separately, we may ask you to confirm your email address by entering a code we send to it, and we check how the platform is being used for signs of automated or abusive use. We do both because of our legitimate interest in making sure a valuation, and any follow-up, reaches the person who asked for it, and in protecting the platform from misuse. You can object to this at any time: see “Your right to object”.
Who sees it
The Translink specialist covering your sector. In most cases that specialist is at another Translink member firm — the one that covers your sector and country — which is a separate company deciding for itself how it uses your enquiry, not a supplier acting on our instructions. Our service providers act on our instructions only: Microsoft, which hosts the platform, stores the record and sends the confirmation code to your email address, and an artificial-intelligence provider, which identifies your sector and drafts the commentary. Where your website alone is not enough, the AI may consult public sources about your company through a web-search service, Brave Search, engaged by the AI provider for that feature.
What we write about your enquiry internally
Alongside the valuation we generate material you do not see: a short briefing note about your company for the specialist, a draft of the email they might send you, and a score of how relevant your enquiry is to the kind of work we do. These are produced by the same AI from what you gave us. You do not see them, but they are your personal data and you can ask us for a copy of all of them.
Where it goes
The AI processing takes place in the United States, under the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. Where your enquiry is handled by a Translink member firm outside Italy, it is shared under our intra-group data sharing agreement; those firms are in the European Economic Area, except Switzerland, which the European Commission recognises as offering adequate protection. The platform itself, and the record we store, are hosted in the European Union.
How long we keep it
24 months from the last time you used the platform, after which the record is deleted automatically. If you confirm your email address, the confirmation is kept only for the rest of your visit, and the record of it is deleted within a day, as is an unused code.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive it in a portable form. You can withdraw your consent at any time; that does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. Write to quantovale@translinkcf.com. Your right to object
Where we rely on our legitimate interest — confirming your email address and protecting the platform — you can object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation. Write to quantovale@translinkcf.com.
Do you have to give us this?
No. It is entirely voluntary. But without your figures we cannot produce an estimate.
Version
Published 5 October 2026. This is version 2026-10-05, and it says the same thing as the summary shown inside the platform when you gave your consent. The exact wording of every version is kept, so a consent recorded on a given day can be matched to the text that was shown that day.
